4:3 int’l short film festival

4:3 int’l short film festival is a pilot version of local festivals, initiated by Oleksandr Hoisan with the support of the Asortymentna kimnata gallery space, the Frankivsk Film Commission and the Contemporary Ukrainian Cinema (CUC).

The idea of holding the festival arose due to the vacuum of such initiatives in the city, as well as the desire to create a more “grassroots” than “official” event that would promote current Ukrainian and international cinema and would be free and open to local communities.

The festival will unite musicians, directors and art lovers in three locations in the city center: Pototsky palace, Asortymentna kimnata gallery and an abandoned industrial zone of the local 63 Boiler-Welding Plant.

4:3 int’l short film festival is an non-profit film festival, which takes place in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine.

The festival is dedicated to presenting current ukrainian & international film productions in 4:3 aspect ratio. The festival presents docs, fiction, animated and experimental films. Films can be submitted on the filmfreeway.com.
